First Tagalog Mass

It was from the group mail that I knew there would be a Tagalog mass in a church near our place. Together with my roommate, Ross, we attended the 3pm Tagalog mass at St. Mary's of the Angels Church.

I was so excited to be hearing the mass in my native language, that I opted to seat in the front row.
I feel and appreciate the meanings of the church songs more when sang in Tagalog. So today, I sang those songs as loud and as heartfelt as I could.

But then, I get more homesick. Because I remember going to Sunday masses with my family in the Philippines. Even those times when we collectively go to ask the priests for their blessings, after the mass.

Hopefully there'll be more Tagalog masses that I can attend here in Singapore. So that I'll feel closer to home.

Sigh. I miss home.
